Hermann Grain Bins Bed and Breakfast and Retreat Center
Q: What are the check-in and check-out times?
CA: Check-in is between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. We ask that you check out before 11:00 AM so our cleaning staff has plenty of time to prepare for the next guests.
Q: Is breakfast included during my stay?
A: Yes! A hot farmhouse breakfast is served daily between 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM. If you will not be joining us for breakfast, please let us know in advance.
Q: How do pricing and payments work?
A: Full payment is required at the time of your reservation. Local state taxes apply, and there is a cleaning fee of $125 per Bin (or $250 if you are renting both Bins). Please see our Reservation Calendar for specific pricing and any Specials of the Day.
Q: Are there age requirements or guest limits?
A: Yes, the responsible party booking the group must be at least 21 years old. Each Bin accommodates a maximum of 6 guests. Please check the Reservation Calendar for any exceptions or holiday requirements.
Q: Are children allowed?
A: Children are very welcome! We just ask that they have adult supervision at all times.
Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: No, pets and animals are not allowed on the property.
Q: What are the house rules and etiquette guidelines?
A: We ask that all guests be courteous and respectful to others on-site. Please note the following:
- We are a shoe-less facility: We do this on purpose so we don’t track the great outdoors inside! Please bring house slippers or fuzzy socks to wear inside the Bins and the Common Area building.
- No parties or unregistered guests: For the comfort of everyone, parties and outside/unregistered guests are not allowed on the property. This is strictly enforced by our on-site owners and managers.
Q: Is smoking allowed?
A: Smoking is prohibited inside. It is only permitted outside in the Designated Smoking area.
Q: What is the cancellation policy?
A: If you cancel within 48 hours of the date of your original reservation, 100% refund less service fees from booking service minus a $50 cancellation processing fee. No other refunds. More details on the agreement available upon written request.
Q: What do I need to do before checking out?
A: We have spent a lot of time, money, and energy building and decorating the Bins for your enjoyment, and it is our home as well. We sincerely appreciate you keeping it in great condition by following these simple steps before you leave:
- Please do not move or rearrange the furniture, or put anything on the walls.
- Place all used towels on the shower floor.
- Leave the beds as they are—our cleaning staff will handle stripping the linens!
- Please wash all pots and pans and place any dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
